Avoid
the
following to keep your throat healthy:

Smoking (tobacco, marijuana, and other recreational drugs)

Smokeless tobacco (snuff and chewing tobacco)

Smoke

Extremely dry air

Alcohol, except in moderation
Use the following:
Several symptoms
that may signify a throat
problem -- possibly serious:

Post-nasal drip
-
Throat pain
-
Ear pain, especially on
only one side

Lump sensation in the throat

Difficulty swallowing
-
Painful swallowing
-
Itching
-
Chronic cough
-
Coughing up blood
-
Swollen glands
-
Weight loss (unexplained)
